Charlotte Community Service

Exervio Management Consulting feels that community service is an important part of who we are as a firm. Because we are “geo-centric”, we encourage our employees to assist local organizations that they feel passionate about (church, youth organizations, and other non-profits). As well, we coordinate, sponsor and execute office-wide philanthropic initiatives throughout the year.

According to Jon Nance, President of Exervio, “Providing leadership in our community is an important part of the culture at Exervio. Our consultants live and work in Charlotte, which I think provides us with both the opportunity and obligation to pitch in. It is great to see our consultants involved and helping improve this community.”

In just the 4th quarter of 2007, Charlotte office employees, friends and family volunteered over 200 hours of community service and gave in excess of $7,500 to several local charitable organizations including the YMCA, American Diabetes Association, Girls on the Run, National Kidney Foundation, Avon Foundation, Komen for the Cure, Adopt-a-Highway and Junior Achievement.

In addition, Exervio participates in the annual capital campaign for the Charlotte Arts & Science Council and was recognized by ASC in 2007 for executing an outstanding campaign.

Various Charlotte office employees will fill community leadership roles in 2009 that include:

  • 2008 Arts & Science Campaign
  • Harris YMCA Golf Tournament
  • 24 Hours of Booty (team cycling event)
  • Step Out for Diabetes (American Diabetes Association)
  • Avon Breast Cancer Walk
  • Komen Race for the Cure
  • Corporate Cup Road Race
  • Adopt-a-Highway
  • Junior Achievement
